At the conclusion of a land auction at the Bureau of Land Management – Colorado, a man identified by protest organizers to be the auctioneer and a federal employee, struck a protester with his vehicle and because he was not looking or aware of the vehicle, fell and was injured as seen here. The Lakewood Police Department was on the scene and confirmed that they witnessed everything. Upon me questioning of why the man was permitted to drive away after hitting and injuring a citizen in front of them, the police officer name Sergeant Blackwell stated that he witnessed the entire incident and deemed on the spot that “he didn’t commit a crime” and sent the man who injured the protestor away. The protestor was taken from the scene in an ambulance.
